When can I specifically request a Pfizer vaccine at a vaccination center?

A number of people have questions about the choice of the COVID vaccine at the vaccination centers.

It is not the intention that people can choose their vaccine. It is only in very exceptional cases that it is possible to deviate from the provided vaccine. An mRNA vaccine is only indicated for patients who receive gene therapy based on an adenovirus.

Doctor's certificates for another vaccine are of no use at this time. After all, vaccination centers cannot simply change the vaccine type. The vaccination centers will not vaccinate patients with doctor's notes requesting a different vaccine for the time being and will send them back to the GP or specialist.
