Do I need to be vaccinated if I do not belong to a risk group?

Risk groups are given priority for vaccination because the consequences of a COVID-19 infection are much more serious for people in the risk groups. But even if you do not belong to a risk group, vaccination at a later stage is recommended.

The infection may not have serious consequences for you, but it is only by vaccinating many people that we can reduce the spread of the virus. After vaccination you can still get the disease, but you will become less seriously ill and you will spread the disease less than without a vaccine.
