You can use white spirit to disinfect your hands

Some people claim that you can use antifreeze gel, white spirit and javel to disinfect your hands.

The best way to disinfect your hands is to wash them with soap and water. You can use a disinfectant hand gel as an alternative. Antifreeze gel indeed has an antibacterial effect, but will not kill viruses. Antifreeze puts a film on your hands that viruses can even stick to. White spirit contains various toxins that easily penetrate your skin. Some of these substances are even carcinogenic.

Javel cannot be applied directly to the skin because it causes burns. You can use ethanol to disinfect your hands. Alcohol is a good way to kill the virus. A solution between 70 and 85 percent has a disinfectant effect.
