Evening or morning people?
Some people get up at the crack of dawn every morning. Other people just can't get out of bed.
There are indeed morning and evening people. And in fact, this is partly fixed in your genes, in the PER3 gene. If both of your PER3 genes are long, you are more likely to be a morning person. If they are both short, then you are more of a night person.
Most people have a short and a long PER3 gene and are therefore not particularly morning or evening people. This will partly depend on the work you do and your family life. But on the other hand, evening people are more likely to opt for shift work and surround themselves with other evening people.
Morning people are more likely to be careerists and have healthier lifestyles. Evening people are often more creative but have an unhealthy lifestyle (they still eat late at night and often eat unhealthy food). They are often overweight and have sleep apnea and more often have cardiovascular diseases.
