Crash diet
Many will have gained a few pounds due to the copious meals of the past few weeks. Does a crash diet help to lose it?
If you have only gained a few pounds, it is sufficient to eat a little less than normal for a few days, avoid alcohol and take a brisk walk every day to lose those pounds.
But if you need to lose more than a few pounds, a crash diet seems attractive. You expect that you could lose, for example, 5 kg in one week in a short period of time. And that also works with a crash diet. Expensive products are often sold via the internet or through home sales to help you with such a crash diet. But once you stop the diet, the pounds will come back just as quickly - with or without these products.
Real weight loss requires a long-term adjustment in your diet and lifestyle. A certified dietitian can certainly help you with this. Don't be tempted to purchase useless expensive products.
