Fascia therapy
Fasciatherapy is a treatment that gently treats pain and functional disorders.
Fascia therapy does not involve manipulations such as manual therapy, osteopathy or chiropractic. The treatments are carried out by doctors, physiotherapists and osteopaths. In addition to the physical approach, attention is also paid to possible underlying psychological problems.
The treatment is done by the therapist placing his hands on certain treatment areas. This laying on of hands is gentle without manipulating the underlying structures. The practitioners claim that through the fascia of the muscles they can influence the numerous nerve pathways that enter this fascia. The fascia forms a protective covering around the muscles.
However, there is no scientific support for this treatment.
