Are there pills to study better?
Before and during exams, many students look for ways to improve their study performance.
These remedies range from harmless rosemary vapors and vitamin preparations to stimulants such as ritatin. None of these remedies and medications have been shown to improve study results. On the contrary, the use of ritatin (in students who do not have ADHD) even increases the risk of completely failing during the exams.
What does help? Getting enough sleep is very important. This way, your brain has the opportunity to better remember everything you've studied. Healthy eating is the second message. Fast food and heavy meals will reduce your ability to concentrate and make you sleepy while studying. And finally, exercise is extremely important. Take a brisk walk or jog every day. This way your brain will also receive fresh oxygen and you will be able to concentrate better.
