Naturopathic remedies
Naturopathic medicine is the collective name for a number of healing methods that try to promote the self-healing of the body. Methods and resources that occur in nature are mainly used.
Naturopathic medicine focuses on the whole person and not on the diseased organ or pathogen.
The ability of humans to heal themselves is central, but the interaction between humans and nature also plays an important role. According to naturopathic medicine, symptoms are useful because they are signs of the body's self-protective and self-healing activities.
Natural medicine aims to stimulate and support these self-healing activities. Naturopathic medicine uses only natural remedies and treatments. Natural medicine often uses acupuncture, medicinal herbs, biological and homeopathic remedies.
These are often supplemented with physical exercises such as chi kung and breathing techniques.
A natural lifestyle is often recommended as well as the use of natural food and certain nutritional supplements.
The scientific evidence for the effectiveness of these natural remedies is virtually non-existent. A number of diseases will heal on their own, even without the use of these natural remedies.
