Does rice powder help against sweaty feet?

There is no scientific evidence that rice powder can help against sweaty feet. However, a number of properties are attributed to rice powder that would explain its effect against sweaty feet.

Rice powder is very good at absorbing moisture. This could help absorb excess sweat and keep your feet dry. But this will not make your feet produce less sweat.

Rice powder is said to prevent fungi and bacteria on the feet. Fungi and bacteria will indeed occur less if the feet are dry.

But there are more effective measures than rice powder that you can use in your fight against sweaty feet. This way you can wear socks made of natural materials. Changing socks regularly and avoiding synthetic materials that can increase sweat production also help, of course.
