When is COVID-19 most contagious?
From the start of the corona crisis, it was clear that the SARS-CoV-2 virus was highly contagious and more contagious than the other viruses. It was also immediately clear that people could already be contagious shortly after infection. Contagiousness is high, especially in the first week from the day after the infection, and certainly from the moment complaints appear.
It is therefore very important that people who have had high-risk contact also immediately avoid contact with other people. Only in this way can the spread of the virus be prevented. It is therefore important to realize that you can infect other people before you have any complaints yourself.
