Can you still get corona after vaccination?

The vaccine against corona provides solid protection against serious illness and death from COVID-19.

After vaccination it takes some time before this protection is built up. In the case of Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Moderna, you are protected from 14 days after the second vaccination. After one injection with Janssen it takes 28 days until you are protected. However, even if you are fully vaccinated, there is a small chance that you will still become infected with the virus. If you contract the disease after vaccination, the course will be less serious.
