Do protective stones work against a COVID-19 infection?
Reports are circulating that chunks of the stone type shungite would protect against the coronavirus. Sellers claim that the rock type shungite comes from a meteor. These stones are said to only be found in the village of Shunga in Russia. In that village it has been believed for 4 centuries that the stones have a medicinal effect.
Recently, the stones were also recommended against the alleged dangers of GSM because shungite is said to block electromagnetic radiation. The stones are also said to strengthen the immune system and work against bacteria and viruses. In some online shops the stones are also sold as stones of life. Of course, the sellers now claim that the stones would protect against corona. Sellers of healing stones also recommend heliotrope because it is said to cure corona. It is also said to help recover from other illnesses and surgeries. Heliotrope is also said to protect against colds and flu.
You must always be careful with such unlikely miraculous effects. These stones have not been shown to work in any way and do not protect in any way against any virus or other disease.
