How can we distinguish an allergy from COVID-19?
Prevent nasal discharge in case of COVID-19, but in combination with other complaints such as shortness of breath, chest pain, sudden loss of smell or taste, fever, muscle pain, fatigue, sore throat, headache, loss of appetite, watery diarrhea, acute confusion or sudden fall. Sneezing alone is not enough to suspect COVID-19.
People who only sneeze and who already suffered from seasonal allergies at the same time of year in previous years can assume that they also have seasonal allergies this year. However, some people also experience breathing problems due to their seasonal allergy, become short of breath or have complaints of fatigue or muscle pain. It's harder for them. Only if these complaints are exactly the same as in previous years can they assume that it is also a seasonal allergy this year. If the symptoms worsen at the slightest, it is recommended that they call their doctor for advice.
