Do certain foods have an antiviral effect?

It is claimed that garlic, coconut oil (cold pressed), bioflavonoids and polyphenols (colorants in fruits and vegetables), herbs (oregano, thyme, rosemary) have a strong antiviral effect.

Even if you consumed large amounts of these foods every day, there would be no antiviral effect whatsoever. They are certainly not active against the coronavirus or against other viruses.
