Can eating garlic prevent infection with the COVID-19 virus?

It is true that garlic contains an agent that works against viruses. This drug, Leptin, can also kill coronaviruses in very high doses.

But the amount of leptin is so low in garlic that you can almost eat a wheelbarrow of it before you notice an effect.

So there is no evidence that eating garlic can protect people against the COVID-19 virus. Garlic cannot increase resistance either.
