How do I get through the end of the year celebrations in a healthy way?
The many dinners and receptions during the transition of the year are a challenge for our bodies. But how can you still get through this period in a healthy way?
Limit the aperitif to one glass and only eat healthy snacks such as olives and vegetables. Skip the fried snacks. At a buffet, you can choose to limit meat, bread, rice and pasta and especially eat vegetables without sauces. At a buffet, take a small plate instead of a large plate. Give preference to tasty food instead of a lot of food.
Limit alcoholic drinks as much as possible. Postpone the first glass of alcohol as long as possible. Always drink enough water so that you stay sober and your appetite is not overly stimulated. Do not put bottles of wine on the table but take the wine glass by glass. Avoid heavy alcoholic drinks after the meal. They contain a lot of calories and slow down digestion.
Take a balance day after a party: eat three light meals and no alcohol but take a long walk.
