Do I have to apply sunscreen to use the sunbed?

You should not use sunscreen products in the tanning bed, as they are designed to protect against real sunlight. Sun products and other cosmetic products can unexpectedly change the radiation from tanning beds and be dangerous for your skin.

The Royal Decree of 20 June 2002 on tanning centers states that you must take the following precautions when using a tanning bed, wear protective sunglasses, carefully remove your make-up, do not use sunscreen or other cosmetic products and do not expose yourself to UV rays if you are taking medicines. that increase sensitivity to these rays.

Caution: The UV rays from a tanning bed are just as harmful as those from the sun. So no excessive use! Avoiding tanning beds is the best way to protect your skin from the harmful effects of UV rays. If you do decide to use a tanning bed, be aware of the risks and take precautions to minimize damage. After visiting the tanning bed, it is best to apply a moisturizing cream to your skin.
